I understand that the Beatle's movie "Hard Day's Night" is available as a full length vt100 animation, over 2 hours long, complete with sound. If so would someone please email it to me? Wait, or was that a Quicktime? Any other feature films converted to vt100 animation? I'd love to watch Terminator II in my xterm.

Of course it's QuickTime on CD-ROM, but *I* believe a good asciification might be watchable. The sound will be a little tricky, tho... Anyone want to grab an image off their copy and ditherize it down to 160 by 75-or-so, for experimental purposes? jorn ObAscii-- Three ascii graces [sorry, black-on-white only] :88888::::::M888888888@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@\ ,-'-/ :88888:::::M8888888888@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@|- ,ii.c,, -.icLZK 88888::::M::;o*M*o;888@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@( .i!vGG_ J4Kb8ZKb@bbK@d@8 888:::::M:::::::::::88@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@b@dP~~~T4( Jd@@7`___s@M@@@@M 8::::::M:;:::::::::::8@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@8@@d*@@@bVi bAKLY~~@@@@@@*ff/ ::::::M::aAa::::::::M8@@@@@@@@@@5::""=@@@@@@@@@.~t` !*~!`. -MA) '~'.).` `, 8::::M:::::::::::::888@@@@@@@@:::::::m88CCC8@@@ -`,,gvZ`` A//- ..c\+\` ::::M::::::::::;::88:8@#88@@88b_::::::mm@9998C8 \!' ! :::M::"@@@@@@@"::::8w8#L""#58@@@)::..8<"_@@9>"C '!- '- ::M:::::"@a@":::::M8i83::))::)@@::: :Yh":::::C- v , ,\t :M88:::::::::::::M88z83:)::::(@@:::. :"?::::C[ // cct M88888:::::::::MM888!8)::::::d@@|::. ..::::CP- -=/. /iD8 8888888MAmmmAMVMM888*8J)::::/J@@|::.. ..:::(C@\- . _)g2i -((dK 88888888:::::::MM88888J)::::6@C8:=).. .:::::@@)i 'c,,Kb@@bK )X)Kb@ 888888888::::::MM888883J):;;cO8::::.... :::::_@AA/i- ~M@@@@Mc .,\c=)D8d 8888888888M:::::mM8888833O8mm@@m888mme_=;:::_@@@@('c\` PPK((,i]v|-\-v)8XNA :888888888888::::m::Mm88OOOO:@@@88P":::::::w@@@A@L!--c)s_, ,(ZsbLb@\`- .-N]/KM 88888888888888888:::::@88OOJJ):::::::::::_@@@@@@@@/- !''~~Vff*N5f -` -,\))KK@ 88888::888888888888:::&&88888):::::__wm@@@@@@@@@@@@2-- ,,_JJ/i)/- |/v)NK@8d 8888:::::888888888888:&&88888 @@@@@&&@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@d!, 'VV\)\\)\7(-)4Jb@8@A :888:::::::88:::8888888@888883 888888@@@@@@@@@@Kb@@@d@v. `-\\/v)88b@M@A@ ::88::::::::8:::::88888&8888833 88888&@@&@@@@@@@@@@@@@@m -)!/stbb@b@@A@b

"Hard Day's Night" is about... oh... maybe 600 MB altogether. Even ditherized down to ascii, you're still looking at something pretty darn huge. If I were you, I'd just rent the video. 'Course, maybe that last statement was just tongue-in-cheek, in which case, I feel silly responding.
