"Hard Day's Night" full length vt100 animation

alt.ascii-art · 5 messages · 11 Nov 1993 - 12 Nov 1993
I understand that the Beatle's movie "Hard Day's Night" is available as
a full length vt100 animation, over 2 hours long, complete with sound. If
so would someone please email it to me? Wait, or was that a Quicktime?
Any other feature films converted to vt100 animation? I'd love to watch
Terminator II in my xterm.

Of course it's QuickTime on CD-ROM, but *I* believe a good asciification
might be watchable. The sound will be a little tricky, tho...

Anyone want to grab an image off their copy and ditherize it down to
160 by 75-or-so, for experimental purposes?

Uhh... not sure about this, folks. "Hard Day's Night" is about...
oh... maybe 600 MB altogether. Even ditherized down to ascii, you're still
looking at something pretty darn huge. If I were you, I'd just rent the
video.
'Course, maybe that last statement was just tongue-in-cheek, in which
case, I feel silly responding. Whatever.

You Beatles fans need to know about the ASCI aniumation of "Alien". If you
have a Soundblaster card, you get full ASCII sound, too.
