Talk: color in .signature???

is it possiable to add color  to you .signature in you mail or in 
newsgroup postings??? =) that woul dbe cool.. I saw something like that.. 
have no idea how he did it .. but he made the whole screen turn green... 
help me please

    You can mail your .signature in color but whether your friends can read 
it or not is their problems, they've to set "display mail using:" option to 
"/usr/bin/more" if they're using elm. These ansi codes can't be read in 
newsgroups. ( Maybe some systems can... ) That friend has colour fullname
and he doesn't change it back to normal so we can see the screen turn green.
You can try it with "chfn" in unix. And the title of the news can be added
color too.

... again, not all people in the world use unix! So i strongly recommend not 
to use colored signatures. If there is a colored .sig and i'd like to see it, 
i have to cut it out and view it separately. I think that's not the way it 
should be. A signature should be viewable directly on screen while reading the 
post/mail. At least imho.
