On the flip side, how do you explain to someone who can see what it's like to be
blind ? Most normally sighted people cannot comprehend it. I have been blind in
one eye (sorry to repeat, dont know if u saw previous threads) since I was 2 or
3, and thus have never seen nor ever will see what a stereogram looks like for
real. Which means all I have to go on is what people tell me, and like you say
explaining that is very difficult.

I'm going to try FP's other suggestions a bit later on and see how it turns out.

What I see and what you see when you look through one eye is probably completely
different, since thats all I'm used to and my brain's adjusted to it.

Aha! That actually helps a lot. Hopefully eventually I'll get it right. Then I
can see properly all those stereograms posted recently ;-)

It also hurts my eye heheh. I was very very shocked when I saw it sort of work.
That's one thing about doing it this way, the change is instant, drammatic and
it stays there. Though, it may be that way with the normal way of seeing them,
but i dunno :)
