And none of mine were, either :-) I guess it doesn't pay to post Aussie
humour (which is highly irreverent) in a forum read by lots of Americans
:-) :-) :-)  The citing of obviously fictitious Manuals of "correct 
composition" should have alerted you to the true nature of the piece.

I was actually rather surprised that Bob chose to post my tongue-in-check
analysis at all.  As the last line shows I suggested that he post only the
suitable bits, and I assumed that he would consider the melodic "analysis" 
to be irrelevant.  I didn't post it in my parallel posting on alt.ascii-art.
