You don't know me unless you've hung out in #ascii on IRC (only efnet
servers)
downloaded an older or brand new remorse ascii art pack (released each
month, along with other ascii art groups)
or downloaded a copy of my Ascii scene emag Cyberia and or Quantum (you can
get it from www.mimic.ca archives or ftp.artpacks.acid.org and so on)

this newgroup cought my eye, and seeing how I've done ascii art for 6 years
and been a big part of the ascii "scene"
yet I see newsgroups like this and some webpages with nice work, yet you
guys have never heard of us, an organized art group
doing nothing but ascii
heck every saturday morn there's ascii art compos on IRC
more then a few times a year theere's different Demo compos etc that feature
ascii  competions some with cash prizes

all is part of the computer "scene" under group

all the elite BBS's back in the day needed nice art, who did it? our groups,
today FTP's and cracking/prirate/ other groups needs art
who does it? we do...new telnet boards are popping up, who does the art? we
do

these groups have been around since the 80s, releasing art each month in
most cases, the ascii "scene" I know is slowly die'n
there's less and less new artists joining, I thought what better way to find
new fresh talent, and to share what talent we have with other ascii fans



I've looked thru alot of you're guy's are, and I'm impressed, so please
return the favor, download remosre 46 from www.acid.org load up
acidview or thedraw or aciddraw or any of your other fave' ansi viewer, and
please check out my ascii's all starting with "pl-"   (for Palmore hehe)

and let me know what you think...if some one does look, share with the rest
of us that you have, give an honest opinion and tell them to check it out
too
this isn't spam, or BS it's just ascii
