Islam *is* dangerous - e.g. for muslims living in Palestine. As was
judaism for the jews in Germany, as is chritianity for the christians
living in certain parts of Africa, as is hinduism for the hindus
living in certain parts of India.

I think that the most important threat is supposing that there is
simple one-size-fits-it-all one-and-for-all time solution to any
problem and then putting a taboo on it.

To give an example: Democracy.
In order to be functional a democracy requires that a large majority
of the people actually understands the implications of a decision
they make. Nowadays many issuses are so involved that this
requirement often cannot be met. Nevertheless it is a taboo to ask
for alternative solutions that do not have that disadvantage.

Such an alternative perhaps means that we need to delegate the power
to people who did *proof* that they know what the best decision is.
No, I don't suggest a dictatorship. If that is dictatorship then how
does one call 'delegating the power to people who try to give us the
feeling that they know what the best decision is and often fail
miserabely'? - I do *not* have the situation in the USA in mind (I
know to little about it) but the situation in Germany. I will never
understand why people protest if a party they did vote for does what
it announced to do. The greens announced: We will increase the fuel
prices. Afterwards many of the people who voted for them protested
against the raising fuel prizes. :-|

Something seems to be going terribly wrong with mankind...
