Hmm...  is it really that radical?

But then, shall we examine Warhol's famous soup can. Who gets credit for
that? Warhol? The original graphic artist for Campbell's soup?

Isn't it interesting that it was around the same time last year that we
had a similar discussion in a thread entitled "Ascii-artists". I
remember throwing myself into the flames for making the point that one
of Joan's renditions of Bambi was actually a copy of a drawing from the
Disney studio (maybe even the great Walt himself did it).

That's why I usually try to stay away from copying and blunder into
doing my own. (This is not meant to detract from or belittle in any way
the excellent ASCII-copies of drawings by Disney, Boynton, Waterson,
etc. done by ASCII-artists, especially Joan and Hayley, who have done
some outstanding copies.)

As I recall, we ended all the nonsense by agreeing to
