well, I deserved it.
I was goofing off on the last day of the womens' bowling league
and strained the ligaments in my wrist... I'm wearing a wrist brace
from elbow to fingers.. tallk about awkward... and oh yeah, it's my
right wrist. I'm right handed... don't expect much from me until
this is healed... bah. It's too hard to type and maneuver the mouse.

Dear Joan,
At least it weren't a power saw you grabbed. I lost my whole right hand,
and one leg, and was cut clear in half. It all healed. You will be fine.

But I think we'll have to say you're malingering if you don't come up with some new ascii-art by next week. I mean, really, I thought you could draw ascii-art with your hands tied behind your back so a little sprain shouldn't be a problem for you... and don't forget that you can always draw with your feet! I agree with lliz. You are definately looking for sympathy if you
havn't made a new ascii post over the weekend. :)
Johnny, Are you sure about that healing thing? I've been reading your
posts for awhile now. Either you are in fact typing with your feet or
you just skipped a few too many grades. ;)

I can think of one tyme, I had both ears cut off in one of them whirlin' grain combines. You couldn't tell it, a'tall, in just a few days. Then there was the time I was completely chopped in half, by ah ol' automated, hydrolic-junk-car crusher. A few stiches, a kouple of bottles of everclear, and two weeks lazin' aroundt, and I was like new. It's allus that way. Things jus' sorter seem to work out. JRO P.S.: I wouldn't worry 'bout Joan makin' ascie. I reckon she will git back to it, affer she sweats off sum of that hootch I sent her. Could be a day er too, or evfen a month. I figger she will live through it, though.
