I have finally (crossing all fingers and toes) put my ascii onto a
functioning web page. 

It is at: http://members.xoom.com/ldb/ldbascii.htm

I have seen it on my IExplorer 3x browser. I would appreciate it if
anyone using that or another browser lets me know if things are goofed
up. 

Enjoy the hot weather, sit under a sprinkler. Of course, first you
have to leave your computer. They don't tan well.

Well, looks OK in lynx. The HTML isn't the best I've seen, but not
the worst either - I think it might even pass validation.

Except for one thing. Your editor is turning spaces in your pics
into non-breaking spaces (char 160 in ISO-8859-1). This in itself
isn't so bad, just unnecessary, but then the editor perversely
insists on using the named entity &nbsp; instead of the character
itself.

This does very, very, very bad things to the size of your page.
Here's one of your pictures as it is in the HTML source:

There are much worse ones than this, but they didn't fit well in 80
columns. Fix them!

IK!

I think the whole of my ascii site is now stylesheeted and sorta compliant with
HTML 4.0 Transitional thanks to Ilmari for introducing me to Stylesheets, of
which I had never looked at b4. I`m now looking into XML which seems cool <G>

The other artists site isn`t intended to be useful to find pictures from... it`s
just a tribute to the artists that made me say 'WOW'! :o)

Anyway, if ure bored, stop by and have a look (and let me know if they are Lynx
friendly now I got rid of all the extra tags)

And it also looks good in Netscape Navigator 3.01, MSIE 3.0 and Lynx
(don't know what number but whichever version the Toronto Freenet uses).

Nice, but you got the upside-down part wrong, you're the one who's
upside-down...

(I've actually been able to sit outdoors without freezing to death for a
