A friend of mine made this spoof of the X-Men logo... can anyone suggest
how to fix the faulty perspective?

You might want to start off by fixing the faulty linewrapping.
Cheers,

If JavE (hmmm .. why not call it J:a:v:e or J.a.v.e. instead ?) had a better editor for it's 3D functions I would recreate the logo by entering the text , choosing the font and altering the viewangle .. it would probably create an interesting result

Can you please tell me more about Jave? Is it useful for creating figlet-like headers? If so, where can I get a copy? It's cool, but I think you got a mistaken image from the title. It's not a magazine ABOUT electronics, or your theme would suit it perfectly. Actually, it is a weird anti-status quo creative writing magazine featuring lots of warped articles and short stories. You can take a look at the website at <http://members.home.net/comintern>. I guess a working-class or anti-capitalist logo screen would suit the zine best... plus 17 lines is ideal... any more would make it take up more than a screen in some browsers and text editors. Talk to you soon! I just created it because it looked cool :) .. and because I have little practice in creating antialiased 3D chars with shading. > Actually, it > is a weird anti-status quo creative writing magazine featuring lots of warped > articles and short stories. I just remove the border and move a few wires so I can put the whole thing closer together. Anyways I still the wires and chips as a style .. Anyone have ideas or diddles for it ? Transistors , diodes .. etc .. Or ideas on what it should make if not the N-COM logo ? Otherwise .. I might have a little idea :) .. I wont tell .. i'll let it be a surprise. Actually, this is the first Neo-Comintern logo we've tried using the shading on. I think it looks ok, but the perspective on the logo seems out, and it is too many columns wide. The guy who did it designed it in MS Word, and I'm not sure, but I think he'd have a tough time fixing it. Or maybe not... > > > Actually, it > > is a weird anti-status quo creative writing magazine featuring lots of > warped > > articles and short stories. I'm sorry to say, but I am quite knowledgeless in this area. What I can say with certainty is that I have gone through all of the figlets that are the right size to spell "The Neo-Comintern" with, so I can't just steal them from that program anymore. I guess I could go back and see how many facilitate "N-Com," but still, it would be nice to have something well designed that looks better than a figlet. > > > plus 17 lines is ideal... any more would > > make it take up more than a screen in some browsers and text editors. > > I can shrink it to that size and under .. I wonder if any h/p zines need graphics. I'm sure that kind of thing would fit well with the theme. Check out http://scene.textfiles.com for a listing of all(?) of the current ascii zines in publication. > > Otherwise .. I might have a little idea :) ..
