This update is amazingly on time. Before Penny Arcade, but after
ScaryGoRound. That John A, he's some kind of machine.

Apparently, the typos run rampant in this strip now. I originally
wrote "Now let's me have a look at the machine.." I only mention
it because it sounds strangely colloquial. It almost works.

Your question is a bit vague. I can see three possible
interpretations:
A) "In what time does Molly's father exist?"
   ("Where in the future is the father?")
B) "Where in the future, geographically, is Molly's father?"
   ("Where is the father in the future?")
C) "Why is Molly's father not in the strip?"
   ("Where is the future father?")

Answers:
A) He was born around the same time that the mother, Linda,
   was born, and will probably die some time in the future.
   However, there have been hints in my strips that people
   live forever in the future, so he might not die at all.
   In that case, he exists forever, starting from his birth.

B) He might be on Earth, or an Earth colony. He might also be
   participating in HS2 (high stakes, high speed) sports on the
   Frontier. (Counted from the point in time when Molly, the
   daughter, travelled back in time to meet her mother.)

C) He's not in the strip because his identity is a secret, for
   the reasons that Molly has already explained in the strip.
   Also, the father is a secret for gag value. If he were there
   and Linda learned his identity, it would kinda ruin the strip.
   Besides, Molly's a grown girl. She doesn't need her daddy to
   run around and babysit her for basic stuff like time travel.
   If he is indeed on the Frontier, then he's probably busy
   managing his HS2 team and lobbying for more lenient HS2 laws
   in the Core Worlds.

I hope you're more confused now. :)
