It doesn't depend on the newsreader but on the font.

However, it seems to be more difficult to do things correctly in MS
Outlook Express (lines wrapping; have to select a monospace font as a
proportional font, which seems weird). So, choose something else :)

I use Forte Agent. But tastes vary. The most important thing for ASCII
art is using a fixed-width font and, sometimes, the ability to create
and receive long lines.

He�s from Germany - or at least his e-dress is.. Southern Germany I think,
because:
I.  he greets with a "servus", like people from Bavaria do
II. he posted german text in an international newsgroup :-)

eigentlich kann man die Newsreader so einstellen, dass man "fixed font"
angezeigt bekommt, geht bei OE z.B. unter
Extras->Optionen->Lesen->Schriftart->und dir dann einfach irgendeine "fixed
font" aussuchen, Courier New oder Lucida Console oder so..

PS: guck doch auch mal bei uns in news:de.alt.rec.asii-art vorbei... :-)
