Why does all the ascii art gets screwed up in OUtlook Express?

Why does all the ascii art gets screwed up in Outlook Express?
And what program are you guys using?

Because you didn't read the FAQ :-)

ASCII artwork is designed and intened to be displayed using a fixed-width
font such as Courier New, FixedSys, and so on.

If either of the boxes below match up and look like good, solid boxes, your
font is probably set properly.  If not, you'll have to change your font,
which I understand to be difficult to do in OE.

Also OE I believe removes the first space at the beginning of every line.

aah man.....didnt look like boxes at all.
Yeah, i sure got the wrong font....its like
the i takes alot less space then the w you know.....

tools/options/read/options/font/courier new or any other of the fonts listed
in the fixed width font pulldown menu.
